Brussels Vibes by kingstom Brussels Vibes by kingstom
IN GALLERY - 19, rue Lebeau, 1000 Brussels (belgium)

5 layers stencil, 6 colors.
sprayed on mdf wooden board - 140x90 cm.
several hours of photoshop manipulation, about 10 days cuting and 2 days spraying.
the layers are made of thick paper (A3 sheets scotched together)
the painting was a bit difficult because of the size and the fact that the layers are in one big piece of paper.
I took the picture myself in the middle of the street.
It is my bigger piece at the moment so let me know what you think
you can also see parts of the process here [link]

Fantastic job. I like the smooth edges of shadows and lights (like on the tram and building on the left), it brings out the sunlight amazingly.

I like it, I would have had the sky a different color though, its too much like a picture this way, you are losing the striking nature of stencils, and the architecture

It's st-Mary's church on Royal street (rue royale) in Brussels center. I'm hesitating if i'm also doing the courthouse but it's a lot bigger than this church
