IN GALLERY - 19, rue Lebeau, 1000 Brussels (belgium)
5 layers stencil cut on thick paper. Painted on wood panel. 120x8Ocm (47.2x31.5 in) It took me about 20 days for the photoshop manipulation and the cut + 2days spraying. (94 montana spray cans) I was quite amazed by the result, hope you'll be too.
You can see the layers here [link] and the video of the process [link]
bro that's a great stencil BUT MAN WATCHING YOU PAINT IN THAT VIDEO WAS KILLING ME. i mean, it LOOKS like you're just SPRAYING THE HELL out of it, like PSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
and i'm like "OHMYGOD HIS STENCILS!@!!! HE'LL NEVER GET MORE THAN TWO MORE USES OUT OF THEM!!! MAN, THAT HAD TO HAVE TAKEN FOREVER TO CUT!!! NOOOO BRO AUUGH TAKE IT EASY ON THE PAINT!!! DIDN'T THEY HAVE ANY BLUEDOTS? CAN I SEND YOU SOME BLUEDOTS?!?! NOOOooOOO THE PRECIOUS STENCILS!@!!!"
you OBVIOUSLY are DOING IT RIGHT, and there's timelapse so you could be painting at the EXACT same speed with the same amount of paint as i do, but i can't tell. (if you watch one of MY videos, the most obvious thing you'll notice is that i have everything sped up A LOT faster, and your videos are better lol)
thanks for the tip. I actually used a lot of painting for this one. I'm still a beginner with spray cans, it's my second in color so i wanted to ensure a nice and regular paint cover (problem i had on older pieces). I normally use the layers only once in order to get original pieces (and i keep the stencils if i get on order for another one). by the way do you have a link to your videos which i have not found
I want to do something like this one day!!
